The girls soccer season also begins this week, with the Hazen Highlanders beginning their campaign on Saturday at the Varsity Jamboree at Sunset Stadium in Sumner.

However, things really get rolling on Tuesday when the Lindbergh Eagles host the Highlanders in a 7 p.m. match-up at Renton Memorial Stadium.

Renton opens its season against Clover Park at 5:30 p.m. Sept. 8 at Renton Memorial Stadium.

The Liberty Patriots are scheduled to play their first game at Cedarcrest on Tuesday before heading to Renton Memorial Stadium Sept. 10 for a match-up with the Highlanders.
