Girls basketball: Marcissa McMillan drops triple-double in Lindbergh win, Hazen falls

Lindbergh 61, Camas 45

Marcissa McMillan dominated Camas to keep Lindbergh alive Wednesday. McMillan scored 32 points, grabbed 19 rebounds and blocked 10 shots for a triple-double in Lindbergh’s 61-45 win.

The win keeps Lindbergh (12-9) alive in the West Central/Southwest bi-district tournament and in the hunt for a state berth.

Jordan Halingstad scored 20 points for the Eagles.

The Eagles play Bonney Lake Friday night at 8 p.m. at Clover Park High School.


White River 71, Hazen 66

Hazen led by six points at half and two points after three quarters, but couldn’t hold on to beat White River.

White River won 71-66 in a West Central/Southwest bi-district game Wednesday.

Hazen (14-7) plays Columbia River Friday night in a loser out game. If the Highlanders win, they will still be in the race to earn a state berth.

Airashay Rogers led all scorers with 27 points for Hazen against White River. Gina Kirklin added 16 for the Highlanders.

Hazen plays Friday night at 8 p.m. at Clover Park High School.

If Lindbergh and Hazen both win Friday night, the two will play each other March 6.
