Athletes at the next level: Andrew Snowdon makes all-GNAC first team; Other local baseball players

Central Washington University senior Andrew Snowdon made the Great Northwest Athletic Conference baseball all-conference first team.

Snowdon attended Lindbergh High School. He made the first team at catcher while also making the second team at pitcher.

Snowdon batted .323 with 13 doubles, three home runs and 20 runs. He went 3-1 with a 3.60 ERA in five starts.

Justin Gunn (Renton) batted .235 on the season for the University of Washington. Gunn appeared in eight games, three of which he started.

Sammy Davis (Liberty) battled .301 while starting 40 games for the Pacific Lutheran Lutes. David scored 40 runs, collected 30 RBIs and stole three bases.

Jaron Iwakami (Liberty) batted .214 in 21 games for the Lutes this season. He started one game and collected 11 runs.

Jonathan Leung (Lindbergh) batted .154 in 13 at bats for the Bellevue College Bulldogs this season. Leung collected one RBI.
