Willa Jane (Sizemore) Rockhill

3/12/1921 – 7/4/2013

Willa Jane Rockhill was born and raised in Seattle, she was a 1938 graduate of Franklin HS and attended the UW where she met her husband Randy Rockhill (deceased January 9, 2008). Following her marriage, June 1, 1940, Willa lived in Renton for the next 73 years.

She enjoyed her family, boating around Puget Sound and the San Juan Islands with Rainier Yacht Club friends, cards, walks on the Cedar River trail, spending time with her lifelong girlfriends, and getting to know new people.

She is survived by her son, King Rockhill (Alice) and his children, Jason Rockhill and Wendy Rockhill, and her daughter Shari Fisher and her children, Marci Christian and Jill Fisher Bentler, and her beloved great-grandchildren; Tyler, Alex, Tristan, Natalie, Carly and Amanda, and her sister Shirley Smart.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Renton Historical Society or the Rockhill Music Fund at Renton Community Foundation. A celebration of Willa’s life will be held August 2 at 3pm at Maplewood Golf Course in Renton. Reception will follow.
