Robert (Bob) Ragle
November 22, 1933- November 21, 2025
Bob was born in Turlock, California and raised in Vallejo, California. He enlisted in the US Army in 1953 and honorably discharged in 1956 at Fort Lewis, WA. He passed peacefully at home following extended illnesses one hour before his 92nd birthday.
He was hired by Boeing in Sept. 1956 and met the love of his life, Marilyn Monaghan at the Spanish Castle that same year. They were married 68 years.
In 1959 he took a leave of absence from Boeing to enroll at the University of Washington where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering in 1962. He retired from his engineering career at Boeing in1995. Bob and Marilyn enjoyed retirement spending time at Crescent Bar in Quincy, WA, travelling in their motorhome and spending winters in Arizona.
Bob is survived by his wife Marilyn, daughter Karen Westwood of Burien, sons Brien (Pamela) of Spokane, James (Ilze) of Switzerland. He is survived also by 6 grandchildren Eli Westwood (Karen), Breanne Avey (Stephen (Brien), Bo & Ella Ragle (Brien), Nils & Maija Ragle (James)
and by beloved nieces, nephews, cousins & friends.
Military service was held at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent.
