Norbert J. Husman

Norbert J. Husman a longtime Renton resident passed away in Puyallup, WA,on August 11, 2011. He was born in Montrose, SD on December 24, 1922. Graduated from Montrose High School. Served in US Navy from 1943-1945. Moved to Renton in 1947. He had 4 children Norma Wells, Marsha Grannis, Debbie Nash & Mike Husman. He worked locally at service stations through out the Renton area, before becoming employed by the Boeing Co., where he worked for 33 years, retiring in 1985. Mr. Husman was a lifetime member of Renton FOE 1722. He enjoyed bowling, sports and time with family. In 1962 he married Marion Jackson and extended his family by 3 more children, Cindy Shirley, Ron Jackson & Gene Jackson. Norbert & Marion had 1 son, John Husman. Norbert is survived by his children, sister Marcella Sunderland of Canton, SD, 11 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Private services will be held on August 29, 2011, at Greenwoods in Renton.
