Lillian Lensegrav Ahlers

Lillian Lensegrav Ahlers, 95, passed away in Seattle on April 28, 2010. She was born in Roslyn, South Dakota on September 2, 1914.Lillian was the youngest daughter of Torgrim and Lava Lensegrav. Her parents emigrated from Norway in the late 1880’s and raised a large family on a Roslyn homestead. In the 1930’s Lillian met Franklin Ahlers of Cleveland, North Dakota. They married and settled in Webster, South Dakota. They left for the coast in 1952 and lived out their lives in the Pacific Northwest. Franklin and Lillian had five children, nine grandchildren and over a dozen great-grandchildren with more to come. Lillian led a very active life and she will be missed. A celebration of her life will be held on September 4, 2010 in LaConner, Washington.
