February 17, 1947 – January 9, 2025

Janet Newton passed away January 9, 2025 from complications of congestive heart failure, dementia, mycobacterium avium intracellular complex.

She grew up in Barrow in Furness, England.

She came to the United States at 19 and started a new life.

She had two boys, Brandon and Jason Krevey. As she traveled through the United States, she ended up in Renton Washington.

She worked for Steven Jaffe optical for 33 years as a manager. Janet loved her job and the patients she met and knew after all those years.

She loved traveling, camping, snowshoeing, hiking and more.

She retired and moved to Las Vegas for the warmth, blue sky, and sunshine.

Janet’s survived by her husband, Robert Newton and son Brandon Krevey.

Her celebration of life was February 28, 2025 at Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Roman Catholic Church in Las Vegas, NV. She will be placed at Greenwood cemetery in Renton.
