Inez A. Edlich

February 4, 1920 – March 13, 2016

Inez got her teaching degree at Eastern Washington Normal College. Her first job, in Omak, Washington, was in a one-room schoolhouse! In the early 50’s, she traveled abroad to Japan, France and Germany teaching at US Army bases. She settled in Renton, to continue her 35 year teaching career. Inez was very special to many, lovable, admirable, interesting and interested, inspiring, guiding, positive to the end. Opera and classical music buff, reader, flower-gardener, walker, volunteer at the Renton History Museum, always up tor the next adventure.

Memorials may go to any hospice or Sacred Heart Hospice, 677 E 12th Ave, Suite 110, Eugene, OR, 97401. A memorial service will be held at the Junction Oregon Retirement Home, April 17. The graveside ceremony will be at Floral Hills, May 13, 1:30 pm.
