Elsie Lorene Leiker

Elsie Lorene Leiker, 93 of Port Orchard, died in Bremerton on October 27, 2011. She was born September 3, 1918 in Jordan, MT to John & Mollie (Hilderman) Sturtz. She married Arthur Buck who preceded her in death in 1964 and Henry Leiker who preceded her in 1989.Elsie was a homemaker who resided in Renton from 1948 to 2004. She enjoyed playing mexican train, pinochle and canasta, and her book club.Surviving are sons Donald (Janet) Sturtz of Renton, WA & Richard (Virginia) Buck of Cle Elm, WA; daughter Diane (Don) DeMulling of Port Orchard; daughter-in-law Terri Buck of Kent, WA; brothers Dick (Mary) Sturtz of Brodus, MT & Elmer Sturtz of Roundup, MT, and sister Irma (Charles) Stone of Forest Grove, OR; 7 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren; and many very special friends, nieces, nephews & extended family members. She was preceded in death by son Darrell Buck, grandchildren Chris, Troy & Tracy, and great-granddaughter Nicole.Memorial Service at 2:00pm on Friday, November 11, 2011 at First Lutheran Community Church in Port Orchard. Burial will be at Bonney Watson Washington Memorial Park in SeaTac. Donations may be made to the First Lutheran Community Church, 2483 Mitchell Rd SE, Port Orchard, WA 98366 in Elsie’s name.
