Clio Kenneth “C.K.” Grant 88, of Auburn, WA, formerly of Gillette,WY died Sunday, October 5, 2008 following a stroke.C.K. was born February 16, 1920 in Buffalo, WY. He was raised and educated in Wyoming and served with Gen. Patton during WWII. He spent most of his life in Wyoming working in the oil and coal industries, moving to the Seattle area in 1979.He is survived by his wife, Jan, of 59 years. Four children, Ken Ammerman of Edgewood, NM; Cliff (Jan) Ammerman of Graham,WA; Duke (Gail) Grant of Orting, WA; and Donna (John) Malvern of Denver, CO. 10 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.Services will be held in Renton, WA at East Renton Community Church on Saturday, October 11 at 2:00 pm. Internment will be at the Tahoma National Cemetery in Covington, WA on Tuesday, October 14.
