Claude R. Stachowiak

Claude R. Stachowiak died peacefully October 5th, 2011 with family by his side. Claude was born to Irene and Vincent on September 9th, 1938 in Detroit, MI. It was in 1961 that he moved to Renton, Washington to work for the Boeing Company and it was also the year that he met and married his wife of 50 years, Eloise. Claude was a gifted Technical Designer who was devoted to his work in propulsions at Boeing. He remained with the company until his retirement in September of 2004 and during those 43 years he was responsible for developing three U.S. patents.

Claude’s dedication was evident as he was only retired until November of 2006 when he returned to work as a consultant for Boeing, sharing his expertise until September of 2011.

He is survived by his wife, Eloise, and by his children Vincent (Kim), Karin, Steven (Michele), Matthew (Tina), Gregory, Samantha (Steve), Jennifer (Matt), Tanya (Heidi), Chandra (Dave), Nicholas (Vanessa), Darwin, Brooke and Zachary (Janney), his 22 grandchildren and his 5 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Andrew. A celebration of life for Claude will be held at Maple Wood Greens, Renton WA at 11AM on Wednesday, October 12th.
