Chantel Morin | Obituary

June 29, 1988 – July 19, 2024

Chantel Morin, a resident of Renton, Wa. Died unexpectantly in a motorcycle accident on July 19th 2024 at the age of 36.

Chantel is survived by her son, Samuel Gipe; her husband, Daniel Gipe; her father, Marty Morin; and her brother, Ryan Morin. She is predeceased by her mother, Marilee Gustafson.

Chantel was born on June 29th, 1988 in Yakima Wa. She grew up in the Renton highlands and graduated from Hazen High School. Chantel was an exceedingly bright and motivated woman. She went on to work at Microsoft after high school and stayed there for over a decade working her way up from an Administrative Assistant to Program Manager. She cultivated a strong reputation amongst her colleagues for her diligence, hard work and attention to detail.

Chantel was first and foremost a devoted and loving mother. Her son is truly her pride and joy, and her spirit will always live on in him. She was an incredibly outgoing, caring person and a fierce friend whom many adored. She loved to travel to music festivals around the country or go to concerts. She truly lived life to the fullest enjoying nature, camping, ATV riding, and she always loved a good party. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends and all that knew her well.
