Town Hall meeting on public safety scheduled for Sept. 27

The meeting comes in response to a request from members of the North Renton Neighborhood Association, who have been attending City Council meetings to express their concerns about crime and safety in their neighborhood.

A Town Hall meeting has been scheduled for 5:30 to 8 p.m. Sept. 27 at the Renton Senior Activity Center.

The event is scheduled to include Mayor Denis Law and other city officials, as well as residents and business owners from North Renton, South Renton and the downtown core.

The Town Hall will begin with a “Social half hour” from 5:30 to 6 p.m. and will be followed by the meeting from 6 to 8 p.m.
