Thomas Harold Phinney, 81, a longtime Renton resident, died June 17, 2011.

He was born on Oct. 16, 1929, the son of Buck and Anne Phinney. He graduated from Renton High School in 1947 and remained in Renton until 1998, when he relocated to Ephrata, Wash.

He is survived by his three children, Tim Phinney, Debbie Hagen and Tony Phinney; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; his brother Jim Williams and his former wife, Shirley Phinney.
