Washington State Patrol detectives are looking for witnesses to a drive-by shooting at 4 p.m. Monday northbound on State Route 167 between Central Avenue and 208th Street South in Kent.

A white Mercury Mountaineer was merging onto northbound SR 167 from Central Avenue when the passenger in an older, dark blue or black 1990s model Honda Accord four-door fired two shots out of the driver’s side window at the Mountaineer, striking it each time, according to a State Patrol press release.

A third shot was fired from the passenger out the passenger side window.

The occupants of the Honda are believed to be Asian or Hispanic males approximately 19 years of age.
