Return of the rain | WEEKEND WEATHER

After a few weeks of cold sunshine, warmer temperatures and rain are back in the fall forecast as our weather returns to its usual pattern in time for the weekend.

The National Weather Service is calling for a 50 percent chance of showers today, Saturday, under otherwise partly sunny skies with a high near 50. Showers are likely overnight with a low of about 43. Chance of rain 60 percent.

Sunday brings with it an 80 percent chance of rain with a high near 50, dropping to a 50 percent chance of rain overnight with a low near 42.

Rain is likely again Monday, with a high around 50, and through the rest of the week.
