The Renton School District will host two public presentations on elementary school boundary changes on Wednesday, Dec. 7, and Thursday, Dec. 8.

The School Board voted unanimously last week to move forward with plans to open Honey Dew Elementary School to kindergarten through fifth graders starting the 2012-2013 school year.

Changing the boundaries of Honey Dew, 800 Union Ave. N.E., triggers boundary changes for Bryn Mawr, Campbell Hill, Hazelwood, Highlands, Kennydale, Lakeridge, Maplewood Heights and Sierra Heights. Other schools are not affected.

The first public presentation is from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., Wednesday mat Bryn Mawr Elementary School, 8212 S 118th Street in Skyway.

The final public presentation is from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., Thursday at Highlands Elementary School, 2729 NE Seventh Street in Renton.
