Renton School District hosting trades fair

The Renton School District is hosting its annual trades fair for middle and high school students Thursday, Dec. 1. The event is being held from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Lindbergh High School, located at 16426 128th Avenue Southeast in Renton. It will feature more than 50 trade organizations from aviation, electrical, culinary, masonry, welding, plumbing, emergency services and others. The district hosts the event to ensure students know they have more options after high school than just going to a four-year university.

Renton schools offer many high school classes to students interested in learning a trade including construction/building classes, culinary arts, health care, computer-aided design and more, a release stated.
