Renton police ask help in finding robbery suspect

The Renton Police Department is looking for the female suspect in the robbery Monday afternoon of the Bank of America branch inside the QFC grocery store in the Highlands.

The robbery occurred at about 4:20 p.m. at the branch at 4800 N.E. Fourth St.

The suspect waited in line and then proceeded quickly to the first available teller, according to police. The suspect presented a note demanding money and gave the teller a white plastic grocery bag to put the money in.

The suspect is described as a black female, early to mid 20s, 5-foot-4 to 5-foot-6, 150 to 160 pounds, with straight black hair her to jaw line and “fake” eyelashes. 

She was last seen wearing a dark zip-up jacket, dark jeans, black knit cap with brim and possibly tennis shoes.

Anyone who believes they can identify the suspect or has any other information about this robbery is asked to call 911 or the Renton Police Department at 425-430-7500. Police urge that no one attempt to contact the woman. The case number is 2010-00388.
