The Renton City Council recognized the Renton Fire Department and its crews Monday night for outstanding service in 2010. Pictured from left are Lt. Roger White, the 2010 Officer of the Year, Chief Mark Peterson, Jennifer Smith, 2010 Civilian of the Year, Tom Sowards, 2010 Firefighter of the Year, Mayor Denis Law and Firefigthter Tom Steifel, who like White is a member of Engine 12B, the Company of the Year for 2010.
