Renton chamber needs business members for education exchange

The Renton Chamber of Commerce is again hosting the Business and Education Exchange, a program facilitated by the Education Committee, which pairs professional business members with principals, administrators and teachers within the Renton School District to spend time at each other’s place of employment.

Participants benefit mutually from the exchange of information and gain an appreciation for their counter-part’s profession and experience.

The exchange will kick off Thursday, Feb. 5, at Renton High School in The Commons. Approximately 50 participants will meet with their pre-assigned partner. At this time, they will arrange a convenient time to visit one another during February. On Thursday, March 5, participants will reconvene at Renton High School to discuss the program and share their personal experiences.

The chamber is now seeking business members to participate in this one of a kind and unique to Renton program. If you would like to participate or find out additional details, call Kellie Jordan at 425-226-4560, ext 11.

The Renton Reporter is the contributing sponsor of the program.
