The following information was compiled from City of Renton police reports.

Four women got into a physical fight after one’s son complained of being bullied on a play field around 1:30 p.m. on March 19.

Police were called to a residence in the 17100 block of 120th Terrace Southeast in Renton. An eight-year-old texted his mother, saying he was being bullied outside. The mother came outside to the playfield about 100 yards south of their apartment.

She told one of the four boys she saw next to her son to go get their parents. The boy returned with his mother and another woman. The woman who originally came outside to investigate was beaten by the other mother and she partially pulled a catheter out of the woman’s chest.

The mother of the woman who was being beaten up ran out of the apartment and witnessed the other woman beating up her daughter. She tried to shield her from further attacks and was herself beaten up by the woman’s friend. When police were called the suspects fled. Paramedics arrived and treated the woman on the scene. Police didn’t make any arrests in the incident because the suspects were never identified.

Another fight at club

A little after 2 a.m. on Feb. 19, police were called to the Cabana Club, 3650 East Valley Road, for a reported fight.

Police found a large group of males and females fighting in the parking lot next to a white limousine. Even after officers arrived and flashed their vehicle’s emergency lights, the group kept fighting for about two minutes. There were individuals throwing bottles of alcohol and other items at each other during the fight.

Eventually, most of the participants in the fight got into the limousine and left the parking lot. The others slowly dispersed in vehicles.

No one involved approached police to report the fight and no one requested aid or reported being the victim of an assault.

Chase starts on 405

The driver of a stolen car led police on a 26-mile chase just before 1 a.m. on March 18.

The pursuit began on southbound I-405 just before exit 4 and continued out Maple Valley Highway to Enumclaw, lasting 17 minutes.

It began when an officer noticed the car, a silver Mazada, was traveling slower than the posted speed. Then it appeared the driver was having trouble staying in the lane. A check of the car’s license plate revealed it was listed as an outstanding stolen vehicle.

Speeds reached 115 mph and the officer following the Mazada lost sight of the car in Enumclaw. Numerous King County deputies, Washington State Patrol troopers and Enumclaw officers looked for the suspect. Eventually they caught up with the suspect who was attempting to break into another vehicle and admitted to fleeing from police earlier. The suspect was arrested.

There were nine adults and three children where the shots were fired into the apartment. Police received sketchy information as to the cause of the incident. A woman said her boyfriend was angry she stayed at the party at the residence and threaten to come “shoot it up” if she didn’t come home.

A man wearing dark clothing was seen running toward the apartment. There was yelling outside and bullets came through the door a short time later.

Police found two 9mm shell casings on the ground outside of the apartment. No one was hurt and no suspects were found.

Nude photos prompt fight

A mother and daughter got into a physical fight over nude photos on the girl’s cell phone on March 22.

Police were called to the residence in the 600 block of Williams Avenue South around 7:30 p.m.

The 40-year-old  mother and the 18-year-old daughter got into a fight over nude pictures the girl had saved on her cell phone. The daughter pushed the mother during the course of the argument and left the apartment.

Police called the daughter back to the apartment and arrested her for investigation of fourth-degree assault.

Son attacks father

A son attacked his father with a knife in downtown Renton on March 22.

The two were supposed to be walking to get some beer, but the 28-year-old son became agitated for some reason. He lunged at his 54-year-old father with a knife in his hand pointed away from his father. The son also told his father that he would get him in his sleep.

The father walked into a local tavern and told them to call the police, saying his son was trying to kill him.

Police arrested the son a short time later for investigation of fourth- degree assault.
