Indians win in first round of sub-districts, one more game to determine seeding for districts | Boys basketball

The Renton boys basketball team beat Olympic 76-69 in the first round of the sub-district tournament Thursday.

The Indians (11-10) will now play Franklin Pierce (11-9) Saturday at 6 p.m. at North Kitsap High School. The winner will take the fifth seed on to districts, the loser earns the sixth seed.

Franklin Pierce beat Port Angeles (15-6) 49-42 in the first round of the sub-district tournament.
