A jack-knifed semi blocked northbound I-5 near the Duwamish curve in Seattle today (Tuesday), according to the state transportation department.

The accident occurred at about 4:30 p.m., closing the four northbound lanes. All lanes were reopened by about 5:10 p.m.

The accident caused long backups right at the start of the evening commute.
