it went by quickly, but today marks the final Renton Farmers Market of the season.

Apples, pears, pumpkins and other winter squash varieties will be in abundance at the market. With the warm September weather, we can still expect tomatoes, summer squash varieties, cucumbers, peppers, onions and potatoes.

Like every week, the Master Gardeners will be on hand from 3 to 6 p.m. and the Kid’s Patch with activities for kids is open during market hours.

Also at the market this week, Food Too Good To Waste will help you shop, prep and store smart to help prevent food waste, and Food $ense will have nutrition info and recipe ideas.  South County Cats rescue will be in our Community Booth.

The Market will be open 3 to 7 p.m. today, Tuesday.
