Multiple police vehicles, a fire truck and an ambulance were called to Renton High School early Friday afternoon after a fight broke out between two female students.
The fight happened during a cultural food fair at the school. One of the students involved thought she was injured; she was checked by medics and was OK.
The school resource officer was not there at the time, so school officials called the police, said Randy Matheson, school district spokesperson.
Those accused from Federal Way, Kent, Renton, Enumclaw
Councilmember Reagan Dunn and more than a dozen business owners argued tips and health care expenses should be a part of the new wage. The council passed the ordinance without the amendment.
Although Reyna Hernandez didn’t have much family in the U.S., she had friends in Renton who considered her family and saw some warning signs of abuse prior to her murder.
