EriAm sisters to perform at Moore

Renton trio the EriAm Sisters perform at 7:30 p.m. tonight (Friday) at the Moore Theatre as part of the eighth annual More Music @ The Moore, or MM@M for short.

The young Abraham sisters, Haben, 11, Salina, 13, and Lianda, 15, were selected to perform at the show by the Seattle Theatre Group. The trio, along with about 30 other young musicians, went through a month-long mentorship process in preparation for the concert.

In addition to performing at a variety of Renton events, the EriAm Sisters have performed their pop songs on national TV and radio and at venues across the country, including celebrity functions. EriAm stands for Eritrean-American. The girls’ parents were born in the West African country of Eritrea.

The concert will feature a variety of music genres, including pop, indie rock, Irish fiddle and strings. A variety of special guests will also perform.
