Lindbergh controlled the game from the get go and just missed on several early shots. The Eagles got on the board in the 14th minute when Whitney Hilde passed to Jordyn McLuen. McLuen’s shot bounced off the goalie, but Lindsey Pfluger was there to put it in.

“We created the shots,” Lindbergh coach James Valles said. “We were shooting from all different places, and we finished. We put ourselves in good spots to make quality shots.”

Lindbergh added another goal in the 27th minute when McLuen hit a cross from the left side and Hilde knocked the ball in. Pfluger scored again 10 minutes into the second half.
