The annual downtown Renton clean up is this Saturday

The City of Renton is hosting a “Downtown Renton Clean Up” from 9 a.m. to noon, Saturday.

Volunteers are asked to join business owners, community members and other downtown stakeholders for a spring cleaning of downtown. This annual event happens right before the Spring Festival to spruce up downtown.

Cleaning supplies will be provided or you can bring your own gloves to do everything from pick up litter, weed pulling to planting.

Volunteers are asked to meet at 9 a.m. at the Piazza, located on the north side of Third Avenue between Burnett Avenue and Logan Avenue. Light refreshments will also be provided.

The event is being put on by the Downtown Events Committee.
