SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES

• On July 23 following an anonymous tip, officers responded to reports that two men were seen driving around a neighborhood “casing” houses. The police report stated the men were contacted and given warnings.

VEHICLE PROWLER

• On July 22 officers reported that two subjects were contacted in a trailer belonging to the victim.

AUTO THEFT

• On July 22 it was reported to officers the reporting party’s vehicle had been stolen from a driveway. The police report stated the owner still had the only key in her possession and no evidence was left behind.

FRAUD

• On July it was reported that an unknown suspect had used someone’s ID at Rite Aid in an attempt to return merchandise to the store.

FORGERY

• On July 23 officers responded to the Fairwood Safeway to reports that someone attempted to purchase items using a fake check and ID.

ASSAULT

• On July 23 officers responded to reports that the suspect had reportedly thrown a glass bottle at the victim and fought with them. The police report stated the victim’s phone was also broken.

CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE

• On July 24 officers contacted two juveniles for smoking marijuana in a park after dark. The police report stated the marijuana was taken for disposal.

BURGLARY

• On July 24 it was reported to officers that an unknown suspect had forced their way into a home through a kitchen window while the reporting party and his family were home sleeping. The police report stated items were taken from the home as well as from inside a locked vehicle parked out front.

• On July 25 officers responded to reports of an attempted burglary at a gas station convenience store. The police report stated the unknown suspects ripped the security gate off the front doors but did not gain entry into the building.

DRUNKENNESS

• On July 24 a male subject who was intoxicated and found sleeping outside the Fairwood Safeway around 11:15 p.m. was taken to Valley Medical Center.

VEHICLE RECOVERY

• On July 25 officers responded to the Fairwood Safeway regarding a group of suspicious people inside the store. Upon contact with a witness, officers determined that one of the subjects had exited a reportedly stolen vehicle.
