Twenty-three Renton High School students recently attended the King County Construction Partnership Career Day at Magnuson Park in Seattle.
The annual event hosts thousands of students from all areas of King County to broaden their knowledge about the diversity of careers in the construction industry.
The event, coordinated for Renton students by Geoff Newing, Renton High’s Manufacturing, Construction and Computer Aided Design teacher, provided students with a hands-on learning experience and a chance to make decisions about their future.
