There are three measures on the Feb. 14 special election ballot in the Renton School District.

King County Elections will mail printed voters’ pamphlets only to voters in districts that requested them; the Renton School District did not request that the pamphlet be mailed.

Voters can also view a list of measures that appear on their ballot using Your Voter Guide on the King County Elections website at kingcounty.gov.

Voting begins this week, and voters can vote and return their ballot as soon as they receive it. King County Elections will offer five ballot drop boxes for returning a ballot in person beginning Jan. 26.

Voters can also return their ballot by mail through the postal service using a 45-cent first class stamp. Ballots must be postmarked by Feb. 14 or returned to a ballot drop box by 8:00 p.m. on that day.

To ensure that voters with disabilities are able to cast a private and independent ballot, the county will open an accessible voting center at election headquarters in Renton on Jan. 27. Find more information on accessible voting online.

For more information on voting by mail, watch a short video, visit the Elections website, or call 206-296-VOTE (8683).
