A Renton man was fatally stabbed early Saturday morning in the 200 block of Southwest Fifth place. Two people are in custody, including the person believed to be the attacker.
Police received a call about fight at 1:15 a.m. Saturday and arrived on the scene to find a 22-year-old man with two stab wounds in his torso. He was transported to Harborview Medical Center, where he died in surgery.
According to police, the The victim and his brothers had reportedly confronted a 16 year old Seattle resident who had attempted to enter a parked car belonging to one of the brothers a few minutes earlier. A fight ensued between the 16 year old and the victim, during which the victim was stabbed.
The 16 year old and one associate were arrested at the scene, and the apparent murder weapon recovered.
