Getting you + your gear outdoors is priority No. 1 for Renton equipment shop

Local Yakima + Thule Rack shop offers largest selection of replacement parts for new + used gear

With outdoor adventure season right around the corner, ReRack Renton is here to help outdoor adventurers get where they want to go – with their gear!

Specializing in everything Yakima and Thule, ReRack can help you transport your biking, camping, water and snow-sports gear and a whole lot more, this unique local store offers the accessories to get outside safely in a way that fits various needs and budgets.

Bo Grayzel started his unique, small business out of his driveway 15 years ago, when he started repairing, reselling and installing roof racks, bike racks and similar products for clients in Portland.

At the time Grayzel didn’t realize how big that hole in the outdoor equipment market really was and before long his wife was encouraging him to take his rapidly growing business out of her garage and into a proper retail space.

“When we say we have nearly every lock, key and replacement part you could ever need for Thule, Yakima and a variety of other brands, we’re serious!” - Bo Grayzel

“ReRack started as a small side-gig but once word got out about the products and services I was offering, it took on a mind of its own. It’s continued to grow year after year since then,” Grayzel says.

“We’re now headed into our 15th year in Portland and our fifth year in our second location here in Renton, at what used to be the old BNB Auto Parts store.”

What makes ReRack such a unique business?

Today, ReRack offers clients far more than just bike, ski and kayak racks. The business has grown to include a wide variety of Van Life, Overlanding and camping products including rooftop tents, awnings and camp kitchens. ReRack also offers clients installation services, repair and refurbishment options for racks and cargo boxes and an extensive inventory of hard-to-find replacement parts even for rack systems that are no longer manufactured.

“We don’t just sell new and used products, as a buy-sell-trade business to take in old products in various states of wear and tear. The products that we can’t re-sell, we keep and utilize for parts,” Grayzel says. “By offering replacement parts and refurbishment services, we’re helping our clients reduce their waste and save money.”
