For the 26th year, Talbot Hill Elementary School held an inauguration to swear in the 2018-2019 student government. Sworn in as president was Aliya and as vice president was Jazz. Aliya, fifth grader, said she hopes to “be better than any other president at Talbot Hill.” She hopes to create more events to make learning fun for everyone. The House of Representatives and the Senate were also sworn into office Jan. 17 in front of their fellow students, teachers and proud family members. Nearly 98 percent of the student body chose to register and vote in this year’s election.
