The Maple Valley Youth Symphony Orchestra is inviting the community to sing-a-long to holiday favorites on Saturday, Dec. 11, at the annual Holiday Sing-A-Long concert.

This year, the concert also includes an open house.

Since 2007, the MVYSO has been adding orchestra groups including small ensemble groups, an intermediate orchestra, a beginning strings program, and a beginning orchestra program. MVYSO’s Debut Orchestra, Philharmonia Orchesra, Symphony Orchestra and small ensemles will be performing holiday favorites. A dessert reception will immediately follow the concert.

Second trimester auditions will be held in early January for students wishing to join.

The concert is at 7 p.m. at Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church, 23855 S.E. 216th St., Maple Valley. There is a $5 suggested donation that will go to support MVYSO’s programs.
