About two dozen of Jahn’s paintings, in an exhibit called “Places I’ve Been,” will be on display Saturday to June 5 at Pogacha of Issaquah, 120 N.W. Gilman Blvd. There will be an artist’s reception during happy hour at the restaurant on May 15 from 3:30 to 7 p.m.

The show will move to Pogacha of Bellevue, 119 106th Ave. N.E., on June 5 and will run through July 10.

Jahn, 57, of Kent was born in Auburn and has lived and worked his entire life in South King County. Jahn began painting when he attended Kentridge High School but did not show his work publicly until about 20 years ago.

Many of Jahn’s paintings have dreamy, multihued depictions of Renton parks, cityscapes and neighboring rivers, beaches and mountain scenes.

He mostly works in oil on canvas.
