Your endorsement in the Sept. 30 Renton Reporter regarding the upcoming Renton City Council elections were very informative. I would like to comment on the race for council Position No. 7.

I don’t like to see Phyllis Forister categorized as a one-issue candidate for her persistence in trying to preserve the current location of the Renton Public Library. It shows her courage and determination to make decisions which are in the best interests of the Renton community. Those same qualities  would influence any decision which Phyllis would make as a member of the Renton City Council.
