Ed Prince is dedicated to city

My husband and I have lived in Renton for more than a decade and are members of the “Next Curve.” We genuinely love Renton —this city is unique, we believe, in the depth of dedication we see in its community members and leaders.

I went to college with Ed Prince, and I must say, I voted for Ed for ASWSU president in 1998 and I am looking forward to casting my ballot for him 13 years later for City Council.  I have watched Ed grow into an amazing community leader – he has the same traits that made him such a great leader back in college. Ed absolutely embodies integrity. He is the picture of dedication to his community, and while he has an excellent grasp of the issues, what makes him so valuable to Renton is his ability to develop the solutions to the issues. Ed listens to people — and not just people he agrees with. He actively seeks out and listens to people who have a different position from his own. He tries to understand an issue from all sides, and he tries to act on information, knowledge, and the intent to accomplish good for the community and the people he serves.

Renton will have an excellent city council member in Ed Prince, and I hope you’ll join me in voting for him this month.
