Tom Newton, 82, of Renton died Jan. 28, 2010.

He was born Nov. 11, 1927, in Seattle. He was a superintendent newspaper pressman for the Valley Publishing Co. and the Daily Journal of Commerce.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Loretta.

He is survived by his children Linda Fields, Tom Newton Jr. and Robert Newton; seven grandchildren, and siblings Rollin and Doris.

Services will be held at Tahoma National Cemetery March 11 at 12:30 PM.
