Commended scholars

Five seniors from Hazen High School, and a Lindbergh High School

senior have been named Commended Scholars by the College Board.

The students received the honor based on their scores on the

preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test.

Only two-thirds of the approximately 50,000 high scorers on the test receive Letters of Commendation in recognition of their outstanding academic promise.

Hazen students are Brian Goddard, Colin Jones, Laura Kooiman, Alexander Lohrer and Monica Razniewski; Lindbergh’s senior is Casey Penk.
