David Warren Grieve, 65, of Seattle died in his home on Saturday, January 31, 2015. David was born October 15, 1949 in Chelan, WA to Vernon D. Grieve and Helen (Kenniston) Grieve and grew up in Woodinville, WA.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Sharon Grieve of Seattle, WA, his three children, son, Rick Grieve and his wife Tamara of Billings, MT, son, David M. Grieve and his wife Shami of Marion, IN, his daughter Laura Grieve of Renton, WA, his brothers Roy Grieve of Port Orchard, WA and Mike Grieve of Bonnie Lake, WA, his 4 grandchildren Will and Micah Grieve of Billings, MT and Bayley and Savanah Grieve of Marion, IN, as well as several nephews and nieces, friends and family.

He had a love for athlet…ics, excelling both in football and in wrestling. He had a love of singing, always letting his voice be heard in the church choir or anywhere else he could sing. He had a love for his job, working at Boeing for 35 years in several different capacities. He had a love for learning, earning an associate’s degree at Highline Community College, bachelor’s degree at University of Puget Sound and his master’s degree at University of Phoenix.

He had a love for all things Disney, going on numerous trips to Disneyland, Disney World and even taking a Disney Cruise. Most of all he had a love for his family, always showing his love with great generosity to those closest to his heart.

Services will be held at 11 am, Friday, February 6, 2015 at New Life Church in Renton, WA at 15711 152nd Ave. His son, David M. Grieve and Pastor Ricardo Quintana are officiating.
