Hazen players to perform ‘Oklahoma’ starting next week

The Hazen Players will perform “Oklahoma!” April 30, May 1 and 2 at 7 p.m. with an additional matinee performance on May 2 at 1 p.m.

The musical, by Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein II, is set in Oklahoma territory in 1906 and details the romance between cowboy Curly McLain and farm girl Laurey Williams.

Mason Catt plays Curly and Laura Kooiman plays Laurey in the Hazen production.

Tim Maison, Sarah Hudson and Johnny Sor will provide comic relief in the Hazen production as couple Will Parker and Ado Annie and carpet bagger Ali Hakim.

Tickets to “Oklahoma!” are $7 for Renton School District staff and students who have an ASB card, seniors and middle and elementary school students, and $10 for adults, and students without ASB cards. For more information, call 425-204-4226.
