Liberty 11, Bellevue 5
Liberty took a commanding lead early and held on to beat Bellevue 11-5 Wednesday.
The Patriots (4-1 overall, 4-0 KingCo 3A/2A) are still perfect in league play. Liberty led 9-0 after the first two innings and 11-1 after four. Connor Sjolander started and earned the win on the mound.
Troy Colyer went 3-4 with three RBI’s and a double. John McLeod hit a home run and collected two RBI’s.
Hazen 25, Tyee 0
Hazen made quick work of Tyee 25-0 Wednesday.
The Highlanders (4-1, 3-0 Seamount) scored 15 runs in the bottom of the second.
Patrick Ward started and earned the win on the mound.
Jeffrey Beckman went 4-6 with six RBI’s. He hit a double, triple and home run. Anthony Pina went 4-5 with three RBI’s and three runs scored. Keith Carlson and Zach Kolterman each went 2-2.
Highline 19, Renton 4
Renton took an early lead, but it didn’t last long as the Indians fell to Highline 19-4 Wednesday.
Renton (0-3, 0-2) went up 2-0 in the top of the first, but the Pirates scored two on the bottom of the inning. Then Highline added nine in the second and eight in the third.
John Nobis went 1-2 with two RBI’s and a double for Renton.
Mount Rainier 8, Lindbergh 3
Lindbergh went up 3-0 on Mount Rainier, but ended up losing 8-3 Wednesday.
The Eagles (2-1, 2-1) scored three times in the bottom of the first inning, but couldn’t find any offense after that. The Rams took the lead with a three-run fifth inning.
Isaiah Williams went 1-3 with a run and two RBI’s for Lindbergh. Cameron Callen went 1-3 with a double. Ryan White went 1-2 with a double.
