Officials searching for man involved in Fairwood robbery

The King County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a man who robbed a woman who was waiting in line at a Chase Bank in Fairwood.

According to King County Sheriff’s Office Communications Manager Brandyn Hull, they are looking for a man who, on May 5, went into the Chase Bank in Fairwood, 17314 140th Ave SE, at about 12:30 p.m. Hull said that while a woman was waiting in line with cash in hand, he walked up and ripped the cash out of her hands.

“Detectives believe the man frequents businesses in the area, though they are still trying to track down his identity,” Hull said. “If anyone has any tips or information, they are asked to call 206.296.3311.”
