Renton Police report the department’s largest drug bust to date

On April 19th Renton Police Officers, along with assistance from the Valley Swat Team, recovered over $1.7 million dollars of narcotics following a lengthy criminal investigation.

The drugs seized included 39 pounds of methamphetamine, nearly nine pounds of heroin, over six pounds of Cocaine and 5,000 pills of Oxycontin. Two firearms were also seized in the arrest.

This marks the largest narcotics bust in Renton Police History, according to the department.

The two subjects arrested are being charged with intent to distribute illegal narcotics.

The department did not yet release any additional info as the investigation is still open.
