The 11th legislative district Democrats and Indivisible RentonWA are coming together to host a virtual candidate forum, 6 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 8. 11th District Democrats states the election may decide the history of the 11th Legislative District for years to come.

The two candidates for State House Pos. 1, Rep. Zack Hudgins and David Hackney, will join a moderator and a virtual audience from across the 11th Legislative District to discuss issues of wide-ranging effect for the people of Washington State, according to a press release.

This will be one of the most widely accessible candidate forum in the history of the 11th district, as it will be broadcasted online for anyone to watch. Any person can also submit a question in advance for the moderator.

“After the results of the August Primary came in, it became clear that this race will be one of the most competitive in King County, if not all of Washington State,” the release states.

This district covers one third of the delegation representing Tukwila, Renton, and South Seattle.

Those interested in asking the two candidates a question can submit their question at 11thLDdems.org/CandidateForum. The release states neutral committee of local people will select the questions to be asked at the forum.
