Despite being crushed below a semi, the driver involved with a collision on northbound State Route 167 near Renton left the incident with minor injuries.

Units from Renton Regional Fire Authority, Tukwila Fire and Washington State Patrol were on the scene of the crash this afternoon, July 30, where a car collided with the trailer of a semi, ending up stuck partially under it. The driver of that vehicle was transported to the hospital.

Crews remained on the scene to remove the car, that caused two right lanes northbound, south of Interstate 405.
