Sunset Park grand opening this Saturday

This Saturday, June 16 phase one of the Sunset Neighborhood Park and the Renton Highlands Library will be celebrated.

Phase two of the park will begin in 2019, according to a media release.

Prior to the dedication, entertainment will be provided by the Campbell Hill Elementary School Choir beginning at 10:30 a.m.

And following the ceremony, the Grupo Cultural Oaxaqueño dance group will perform accompanied by El Cuarteto Gozona, followed by Ian Dobson’s Steel Drum Party.

The event is scheduled to run from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. and light refreshments will be served at the library.

The park is located at 2801 NE 10th Street and parking is limited.
